Who we are

This policy explains how My Almanac ("we") handles personal data collected through this website, https://myalmanac.in. It does not cover the MySchoolHub school portal used by schools, which is governed by each school's agreement with us.

We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

When you request a demo, we collect what you type into the form: your school's name, your name, your role, phone number, email, city, state, number of students, board, your message and your preferred demo time.

We also record the time you gave consent and which version of this policy you agreed to, the page you arrived on, and campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source).

To protect the form from abuse, our server briefly uses your IP address to limit repeated submissions. We do not store it with your request.

Why we use it

We use your details only to contact you about your request, arrange and run your demo, and follow up about My Almanac. We rely on the consent you give when you tick the box on the form.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising by other companies.

Cookies and analytics

Essential parts of the site work without tracking cookies. If you choose Accept on our cookie banner, we load Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are read and where people leave. Clarity masks everything typed into forms. If you choose Reject, these tools do not load. You can change your choice at any time from the link in the footer.

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a form is being sent by a person and not a bot.

Who we share it with

Only our team can see demo requests. We use a small number of service providers to run the site: our hosting provider, Google (email delivery and, if you accept, analytics), Microsoft (Clarity, if you accept) and Cloudflare (bot checks). They process data only on our instructions.

How long we keep it

We keep your request while we are in conversation with you and for a reasonable time afterwards, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or withdraw your consent. Write to hello@myalmanac.in. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

If you have a complaint about how we handle your data, contact our grievance officer at hello@myalmanac.in. You may also approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

This website is meant for school owners, principals and staff. It is not directed at children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
